Forum Jeunes Chercheurs 2019

 « PRIX DE THESE » CONTEST

Two "thesis prizes" of 1000 € each will be awarded by Le Mans University to the doctors who supported the best theses in 2018/2019.

• · Terms of the contest
  
  • PhDs who have defended their thesis between 1 October 2018 and 30 September 2019 are invited to compile the following file in the form of a single file in pdf format:
    •  application letter
    •  CV
    • pre-reports and thesis defense report

• • This file is to be deposited on the space https://prixdethese.sciencesconf.org between 2 and 22 October 2019 :

• • • Title *: indicate the title of your thesis
    • Summary *: indicate (in one word) the discipline of your PhD (eg Geography, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, English, etc.)
    • Additional data: file a file (in pdf format)

•  Composition of the jury

• • A representative of Le Mans Métropole
  • The directors or co-directors looking for each RFU
  • The director of ENSIM
  • Vice President Research
  • The director of the Doctoral Center
  • The director of the CTTM

• Criteria for assessing the files
  • Radiation of the thesis and scientific production: publications in journals and papers in symposia
  • Innovative aspect of the thesis subject and risk taking
  • Opening of the thesis: multidisciplinarity and external collaborations
  • Valorisation and transfer to the socio-economic environment
  • Profile and personality of the candidate: course, actions, responsibilities, etc.

•  Calendar
  • 2^nd to 22^nd October : submission of applications
    
  • 21^st November: collection of jury ratings and ranking of laureates
  • 25^th November : communication of the results to the laureates and their supervisors
    
  • 29^th November 2019, 16h30:award ceremony to the two winners in the framework of the Young Researchers Forum
